Event Description

Presented by Natalie Ashdown, CEO Open Door Coaching Group.

The old “win-win” and collaborative models of negotiations are still valid and important, however, this workshop introduces you to a “new and improved” model of negotiation that you can easily implement with your clients into many workplace situations. Focusing on the positive intention, or “higher purpose” allows negotiations to turn in strategic conversations that move all parties forward, rather than just focusing on defending positions.

In this interactive workshop you will walk away with knowledge of;
• How to move past taking positions, collaborating, compromising and “win win”
• How to find the positivie intention, or higher purpose that become the basis of strong conversations (and negotiations)
• How to practically apply the skills in the workplace to achieve great outcomes.

Natalie is the Director of the Open Door Coaching Group Registered Training Organisation, providers of professional qualification in workplace and business coaching skills. She is also 2009 Co-President of ICF (Victoria) ICF credentialed as a Professional Certified Coach (PCC). Her qualifications include BA in Business in Marketing, Masters of Business Administration (MBA), Diploma of Workplace and Business Coaching, Master NLP Practitioner and Master of Ericksonian Hypnosis.

She is an experienced coach whose passion is introducing and implementing coaching cultures within organisations. Her vision for Australian organisations is that the use of coaching techniques "becomes the way we do things around here".

From a business perspective, Natalie has over 15 years experience in strategic business and marketing, leading-edge product development and leadership development, gained primarily in IT, banking and the finance sector. Natalie has held positions of Senior Business Analyst, National Product Manager, General Marketing Manager and Senior Project Manager for several large companies that including the ANZ Banking Group and Global Technologies.
